Kelly has just completed the run of the World Premiere of Jacob M. Appel’s “THIRDS” at The Lion Theatre - Theatre Row. Here’s what the critics are saying:

Broadwayworld: “The most comedic of the three sisters is Maya, a directionless artist whose imagination runs wild with elaborate daydreams. Strandemo bursts out in wide-eyed, large-gestured dramatics that make you chuckle (just wait until you hear about “baby sister Cordelia” and the baboon) because she reminds you of every attention-seeking baby of the family.”

-Amanda Mashack

Theatremania~ “At 29, Maya (delightful Kelly Strandemo) is still the baby of the bunch. Resolutely unemployed, she's the designated screw-up, a self-styled artist with little to show for her efforts and ambitions so diffuse ... that the label of dilettante would seem overly confining.”

-Sandy MacDonald

BACKSTAGE:

“... Older sister Delilah and baby sister Maya can’t decide on who should get to keep their late mother’s house, so Maya, the free-spirited artist, decides to build a brick wall through the living room. Kelly Strandemo is believable as a directionless 20-something...”
